Sustainable Organizational Practices
Free Software
We use and develop free software, promoting:
- Reduction of operational costs, which can be invested in our collaborators;
- Promotion of transparency in our products, whose code can be audited by any interested party;
- Strengthening collaboration with other initiatives, as we improve systems and programs developed by volunteer programmer communities.
Remote Work
All our employees work remotely, from home, with flexible hours - the team is spread across 3 regions of the country. This practice reduces the need for daily commutes, decreasing the emission of greenhouse gases associated with transportation.
Furthermore, flexible hours allow for a better quality of life for employees, avoiding peak traffic hours and promoting a healthy balance between professional and personal life.
With this policy, we are in harmony with SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth).
Dedicated Servers
We use dedicated servers rented in data centers. This practice allows us to extract more from the hardware, resulting in more efficient resource utilization, less waste, and cost reduction compared to cloud-based solutions.
We apply this strategy in the processing, storage, and hosting of our clients' projects, reducing the environmental impact of the entire chain and in line with SDG 13 (Climate Action).
Multidisciplinary Team
Our team is composed of professionals with diverse backgrounds, including technology, law, and journalism. The diversity of skills and professional backgrounds allows us to approach problems from different perspectives, promoting more innovative, effective, and ethical technological solutions, in accordance with SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth).
Future Commitments
We are committed to continuing to develop and implement sustainable practices, seeking new opportunities to reduce our environmental impact and promote sustainability in all our operations.
